Minwax®  Hardwood Floor Care System makes cleaning simple and helps you keep your hardwood and laminate floors beautiful. It includes Minwax 32 oz. Hardwood Floor Cleaner, a mop with multi-pivot head, and machine washable SmoothGlide™ Microfiber cleaning pad.

Q. What components are included in the Minwax® Hardwood Floor Care System box?

One specially formulated 32 oz Minwax® Hardwood Floor Cleaner, one SmoothGlide™ Microfiber cleaning pad, one multi-pivot mop head, and one sturdy 3-piece handle.

Q. How do I use the Minwax® Hardwood Floor Care System?

First dry mop, or vacuum floor to pick up loose dust and dirt. Then apply specially formulated Minwax® Hardwood Floor Cleaner directly onto the floor in an “S” pattern in a 3-4 foot area. Mop floor with a clean SmoothGlide™ Microfiber cleaning pad. Finally remove SmoothGlide™ Microfiber cleaning pad from mop head and launder.

Q. Are there any special laundering restrictions?

Yes. Do not use any fabric softeners or bleach in the laundering process. We recommend that you wash in warm water. Air dry or tumble dry on low heat.

Directions

  1. Vacuum, or dry mop floor with SmoothGlide™ Microfiber cleaning pad to pick up loose dirt.
  2. Apply specially formulated Minwax ® Hardwood Floor Cleaner directly onto the floor in an “S” pattern in a 3-4 foot area.
  3. Mop floor with a clean SmoothGlide™ Microfiber cleaning pad to remove dirt, dust, grime and allergens leaving behind no streaks or dulling residue. (Occasionally rinse cleaning pad with water when it becomes oversaturated in order to remove dirt and to increase absorption capacity.)
  4. When finished mopping entire floor, pull the SmoothGlide™ Microfiber cleaning pad off mop head and launder.

DO NOT USE ANY FABRIC SOFTENERS OR BLEACH in the laundering process – the SmoothGlide™ Microfiber cleaning pad will be negatively affected by these products. Wash in warm water. Air or tumble dry on low.

Tips on Hardwood and Laminate Floor Maintenance:

1. Use Minwax® Hardwood Floor Cleaner as part of your regular cleaning routine.
2. Use doormats or area rugs by door entries.
3. Wipe up food and beverage spills immediately.
4. Install furniture pads on furniture legs.
