Learn how to finish your hardwood floor in one day with Minwax® Sanding Sealer and Minwax® Super Fast-Drying Polyurethane® for Floors.

First, start by sanding your raw hardwood to leave microabrasions in the wood's surface. To level off the surface, apply Minwax® Sanding Sealer, which will take about an hour to dry.

After drying, sand and vacuum up any loose dust. Next, apply Minwax® Super Fast-Drying Polyurethane for Floors. Make sure to apply this with the grain using a natural bristle brush. If you are working on a large floor, use a lambswool applicator. In about three to four hours, your floor will be ready for a second coat of polyurethane. This dry time is 25% faster than other products on the market and, unlike other finishes; you don't have to sand that first topcoat.

By the end of the day, you will have all coats applied and drying. In 24 hours you can allow light traffic back on the floor and in 72 hours you can place furniture on your newly finished floor.
