To begin the shelf project, make sure the wood is gently sanded for a clean dust-free surface. To keep your hands clean, first put on the gloves provided. Remove a stain cloth from the package - be sure to reseal it to prevent the cloths from drying out. Wipe in the direction of the grain, working the color into the wood surface. Remove excess with a clean rag. For an even deeper color, wait one hour and apply an additional coat. Let dry for an hour and you're done!
